General Terms and Conditions
FOR VEHICLE RENTAL (RENT A CAR)
- Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the use of the Milos Drive & Stay E.E. website and its vehicle rental services. By making a booking, the customer fully accepts these terms and conditions. - Rental Conditions
- The driver must be at least 18 years of age.
- The driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least 3 months.
- A credit or debit card in the driver's name is required.
- For non-EU citizens, an international driving licence may be required.
- Bookings & Payments
- Bookings can be made via the website, by email, or by telephone.
- Payment can be made by credit card, debit card or cash.
- The company reserves the right to pre-authorise an amount as a security deposit.
- Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to the pick-up date.
- Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days prior to the collection date are subject to a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days before the collection date are non-refundable.
- Vehicle Collection & Return
- The vehicle is handed over in good condition and must be returned in the same condition.
- The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and location.
- Late returns may incur an additional charge.
- Fuel Policy
- The vehicle is handed over with a full fuel tank.
- It must be returned with the same amount of fuel; otherwise, a charge will be applied.
- Insurance & Liability
- Basic insurance with an excess is included.
- In the event of damage, the customer is liable up to the amount of the excess.
- Vehicle Use
The following are prohibited:
- Taking the vehicle outside the country
- Use for illegal activities
- Driving by an unregistered driver
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Fines & Offences
- The renter is responsible for any fines or traffic offences incurred during the rental period.
- The company may charge administrative handling fees.
- Accidents & Damage
- In the event of an accident, the customer must immediately inform the company and the authorities.
- Failure to comply may result in the customer bearing full liability.
- Additional Charges
Charges may apply for:
- Child seats
- Out-of-hours collection/return
- Collection from remote locations
- Data Protection
The Company complies with the GDPR and ensures the protection of customers' personal data - Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. - Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Piraeus shall have jurisdiction.
